Student Life

With a myriad of activities available, scholars are encouraged to cultivate leadership skills and talents, participate in extra and co-curricular activities, and gain exposure to new areas of interest. Such occurs during and after the academic day. Doing so reinforces our pillars of Faith, Scholarship, Opportunity & Character!


Future Educators Association

The Future Educators Association (FEA) is student organization dedicated to supporting young people interested in education-related careers.

  • Mission: Build a rigorous and inspiring pathway to accomplished careers in education, beginning in secondary school.
  • Vision: Our vision is that every child will have access to a well-prepared and effective teacher, and students will view teaching as an attractive and rewarding profession.
  • Impact: Attract, prepare, and support young people to become effective teachers and to have more effective teachers entering careers in education.

National Honor Society (NHS)

Mother Mary Elizabeth Lange Chapter.

An invitation only, nation-wide, academic honors group based on academic performance, community service, conduct and character.

Student Ambassadors

Students learn social graces and act as ambassadors for the school at recruitment days, visitor tours and guests visits.

Student Government Association (SGA)

Students are elected by their class and /or student body and are responsible for the student activities that happen during the school year. Meeting day/time: Thursdays 2:15- 3:00 pm.

Extra Curricular

Key Club

The Saint Frances Academy Key Club Chapter empowers its youth members to lead and serve through the cultivation of leadership skills, development of friendships, and performance of service in their communities. The Key Club has volunteered at Moveable Feast, Salvation Army Feed more Van, BWI Operation Welcome Home, Club at Collington Square Dinner Program and in the SFA Community Center. These service projects provide a meaningful experience for both members and recipients.

Gospel Choir

The gospel choir performs at most school functions as well as events that occur outside of the building. Vocalists and musicians can participate.

Liturgical Dance

Students perform beautiful liturgical dances to Christian-themed music for prayer services and assemblies.

The Crew

Interested students help with the setup and breakdown of the school gym for assemblies, sporting events etc.

Peer Ministry

Students will assist in preparation, planning and execution of school prayer services and Eucharistic celebrations.

Prom Committee

Interested Juniors and Seniors help in planning the school's prom. Meeting day/time: Tuesdays 3:15 pm - 4:30 pm (January - May only)
