Happy St. Patrick’s Day!


Students are reminded that the spring option uniform may not be worn until March 31, 2008.  Any students in violation of the dress code should be written up in homeroom.


It's that time of year again!!!! The Faculty/Student Basketball Game will be held in the gym on April 1st at 3:15 pm. The cost is $3 to benefit the Costa Rica Travel Club and food will be for sale at the games. Each class will put up a mixed gender team of 10 players. Sorry no Varsity or JV players allowed!!! Team sign up sheets are in the cafeteria. Game 1 will be Freshmen vs. Juniors, Game 2 will be Sophomores vs. Seniors, Game 3 will be the winners of each bracket, and the 4th and final game will be the overall winners vs. the Faculty. Our SFA Faculty Team are undefeated 5 time CHAMPIONS, so just BRING IT!!!!!!!! WHO WILL BE THE APRIL FOOLS??????

 

This is a reminder that electronic devices are not permitted during the school day. Cell phones, ipods, psp, etc. may only be used before and after school.

 

Congratulations to Lynia Ligon, who has been accepted into her first choice college - Frostburg State University!!! Lynia is an aspiring businesswoman and plans to be successful in her endeavors at college!

 

Congratulations to Charnelle Towler, who has been accepted into Hood College. She plans to major in either Biotechnology, journalism or pre-med. She has worked for this - good work and good luck!!!!

 

Congratulations to Leroy Myers, who has been accepted into UMES!! He plans to double major in history and philosophy. He has worked hard to get to this point, so please congratulate him when you see him.

 

Students, are you looking for a summer job? Do you like to explore the outdoors, learn about the environment and can work as a team with others? If you live in Baltimore City and are at least 15 years old, you can apply for a job where you are engaged in hands-on conservation work outdoors, working on park maintenance and improvement and other exciting projects. See Mrs. Wilson for an application. Deadline is April 20.
