Student Announcements Today begins the Lenten Season. It is a time of remembrance of the events that led up to the death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Christ. We will have an Ash Wednesday Mass today at 9:30 am. We will operate on a Morning Assembly Schedule with 30 minute class periods. The schedule is as follows: HR, A, B, HR, Assembly (9:40 - 11:10), C, D, E, F, G, H. Congratulations to Shandriel Scille, who not only been accepted to Immaculata University but has received a $36000 honors scholarship to attend. She plans on majoring in biology and fashion design. She wish her luck and best wishes for a successful future!
There will be a Girls Lacrosse Team meeting Wednesday afternoon February 6 at 3:00pm in the 1870 Conference Room next to the main office. This meeting is mandatroy and will last for one hour. Please make plans to attend! Mrs. Sanders needs to meet with the following members of the Sophomore Retreat Committee during G Period on Thursday, 2/7/08: Ross Baker, Shawndre Coates, Kuawandra Edwards, Jessica Gattis-McIntyre, Montay Henson, Briana Hutchen, Lamar Lundy and Wayne Sparrow. Please bring your ideas about the topics discussed and be prepard to decide on the focus and theme. This is a reminder that the Sophomore Class event to Dave & Busters at Arundel Mills will take place this Thursday, February 7, 2008 from 4pm - 9:00pm. All permission slips were due today. Students - are you thinking about going to Tuskegee University after you graduate from high school? If you are interested in learning more about Tuskegee University, a representative from the college will be visiting on Thursday, Per. D in Mrs. Wilson's office. Please sign up on her door to attend the presentation. Juniors, if you have not submitted your permission slips for the Holocaust Museum trip, please do so today.
