PANTHERS DEFEAT SPALDING ON “SENIOR DAY”
February 3, 2008
It was Senior Day for Brandon Randolph, Donald Washington, Anthony Oquendo and Sean Mosley. They certainly responded to the accolades with three of the four in double figures as they controlled the Spalding team, leading 42-27 at the half. Once again the reserves came in and blew a fifteen point lead and Spalding actually led at by one during their comeback in the third quarter. With his team leading by only one going into the fourth quarter……the Seniors and starters came back in and quickly ended the tension by building the lead back up.
Sean Mosley led the way with 25 points, 4 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Wayne Sparrow had 17 points, all in the second half and Donald Washington had 16 points to go along with 4 steals. Anthony Oquendo had 12 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists.
As we go into Tournament play, the reserves are going to have to step up and give the starters a break. Next game is on Friday against Towson Catholic at the College of Notre Dame. Come out and support our Panthers.
