PANTHERS WIN 58-46
TO AVENGE EARLIER LOSS TO LOYOLA

January 29, 2008

The Panthers were ready last night.  After playing the slow down game on Sunday against Goretti, they were prepared for more of the same.  The defense didn’t allow it to happen.  With the Panthers up by ten at half time, they held on for a twelve point victory.

Once again Sean Mosley was the man with almost a triple-double of 20 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists.  He also had three blocked shots.  R.J. Williams was also a scoring threat with 10 points, 4 boards, 2 assists and 3 steals.  Although Greg Lewis fouled out late in the game, he made his presence known with 5 rebounds to go along with 4 points.  He seems to be regaining his confidence after an ankle sprain kept him on the sidelines for several weeks.  We will need him for the playoffs.

Next up is Homecoming this Friday and the Panthers will face up against Calvert Hall.  We are expecting a huge crowd, so get your tickets early to watch the girls versus St. Paul’s and the JV and Varsity take on the Cardinals.
