Student Announcements
Wednesday Basketball:
This Friday, December 7 is Junior Ring Mass. All students (other than juniors) should be in school sweaters. If you don't have a sweater, please purchase one.
There will be a Free Girls Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday, December 8th at 11:00 am. Please Coach Owens for details. There will be a Boys Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday at 3:30 pm. Please see Mr. Truesdale for more information.
The school building closes and gates are locked at 3:15 pm. Any student who is not under the direct supervision of a teacher or coach must leave the building at that time. Once students leave the property, they can’t return.
Community Service Opportunity: Information regarding the Maryland Science Center Camp-in Vounteers needed for the months of January through May is posted on the Campus Ministry bulletin board as you enter the Cafeteria. See Mrs. Sanders if necessary.
Our Winter Weather Closing Policy is as follows: If Baltimore County schools are closed then we are closed. If Baltimore County Schools are one or two hours late then we operate on a Thursday schedule. If Baltimore County Schools close early, then the school administration will determine and announce what we will do as a school community.
Juniors: Juniors have a mandatory practice, Thursday morning, December 6th from 8:30 - 9:15am. All juniors are required to be here on Thursday in order to participate in the ring ceremony and attend the dance that night.
If you have not given your class ring to Ms. Ward please do so by this Thursday.
All juniors need to give the name of their dates for the dance to Ms. Ward by the end of today. Please see her in room 304. A few students still need to pick up their tickets. Make sure you do so by today.
Christmas Competition - Deck The BoardsEach class has a designated board that they will decorate for Christmas. All boards must be finished by Friday, December 14th. No one will be allowed to leave class to finish boards. Vandalism to any board will not be tolerated. Freshmen - First Floor, Sophomores 2nd floor new building, Juniors 2nd Floor, Seniors - 3rd Floor. Boards will be judged Monday, December 17th. Winners will be announced at the prayer service.
~SGA Christmas Service Project ~ All classes are asked to bring a new toy or money to donate. We will donate to a children’s center for Christmas. Toys / cash will be collected in homeroom starting Monday Dec. 10th - Thursday, Dec. 20th. We will present this during the prayer service on Friday.
The Convent of our Oblate Sisters in Siquirres was recently damaged by rain and floods. Money is desperately needed for repair/renovation and to help replenish and resupply all that was lost. Please make a monetary donation of whatever amount you can TODAY. Please give donations to Mrs. Sanders. Please be as generous as you can.
