BLUE Week Schedule

All gym classes today will be in 408.

There has been some vandalism throughout the building in the past couple of weeks.  Vandalism is often an expression of anger.  Someone may be very angry and in need of someone to talk with. The counseling center is always open to discuss any problem someone may be facing.  There are also teachers and administrators willing to help as well.

Senior Class Trip- All seniors are reminded to turn in their permission slips and forms to Coach Owens today. The first deposit of the trip is today. Please give checks and money orders made payable to St. Frances Academy or cash to Ms. Ward in room 304.

Any student interested in receiving a new coat should see Mrs. Missouri.

Today is Senior Day. Seniors will be out of uniform and allowed to order food.

In honor of senior day, the journalism class would like to take the senior superlative pictures for the yearbook.  In order to do this, we will need the following students to report to room 203 at the beginning of G period: Jon Burns, Aaron Churchill, Kiara Mack, Fatima Bryant, Jasmine Berry, Cecil Ammons, Kandace Green, Sean Mosley, Lynia Ligon, Danielle Branche, Faatimah Parker, James Modlin, Shandriel Scille, Glenn Bullock, Donald Washington, Chris Wright, Leroy Myers, Tania Waters, Lauren Toogood, and Erin Allen.

*Reminder: All names of students and dates attending the junior ring dance must be given to Ms. Ward in room 304.

Are you a Sophomore, Junior or Senior who is in search of a volunteer experience? The Maryland Science Center needs volunteers to help with the Camp-In Program for Friday and Saturday nights from 5:15 to 11:15 pm beginning Jan. 11 and ending May 17. You would assist younger students who are in girl scouts and boy scouts in an overnight experience at the Science Center. If this sounds like an volunteer experience you may be interested in being involved in, click on http://www.marylandsciencecenter.org/community/campin.html to learn more and apply. You may download the application off of the website. If you need further assistance, see Mrs. Wilson.

Friday, December 7 is Junior Ring Mass. All students (other than juniors) should be in school sweaters. If you don't have a sweater, please purchase one.

St. Frances Boys Basketball team members will be playing in the Charm City Classics at Loyola College on Saturday, December 1 at 6:20 pm. Please come out and support. Student tickets are $8 and adult tickets are $12.

There will be a Free Girls & Boys Lacrosse Clinic on Saturday, December 8th. Please Coach Owens and Mr. Truesdale for more information.

All students who have been selling candy to raise money for the Costa Rica trip need to wrap it up and turn in your money with your name on it to Ms. Prentice in Room 305 as soon as possible. Thank you for your support!

The school building closes and gates are locked at 3:15 pm. Any student who is not under the direct supervision of a teacher or coach must leave the building at that time. Once students leave the property, they will not be allowed to return.
