SAT & ACT
The SAT is the Scholastic Aptitude Test that each senior needs take for entrance into college and includes verbal, math, and a writing sections. The alternative option is the ACT, which includes a math, verbal and science portions. Please be aware of the following registration dates for the SAT and ACT. Listed below are dates these tests will be held at St. Frances Academy:

The cost of the SAT test is $41.50, the ACT $29.00. Students can receive a total of two fee waivers if they receive free or reduced lunch. For efficiency and a quicker response, it is recommended to register online at www.collegeboard.com, and a fee waiver can still be used.
Seniors may apply for financial aid for college from Jan. 1 through March 1. The parent’s taxes need to be completed in order to fill out the FAFSA form. FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov or an application can be picked up in the guidance office after the Christmas holidays.
