William Wells honored for 28 years, 500+ wins
Coach William Wells established the basketball program at St. Frances in 1979 and SFA joined the Baltimore Catholic League (BCL) in 1986.
He has earned one Alhambra Championship & six BCL Championships
- all for the St. Frances Panthers.

During the Opening School Liturgy, SFA president Sr. John Francis Schilling, OSP announced the recipients of two scholarship initiatives for 2007-08.  Fifteen students were named Cosby Scholars and four students were named Under Armour Scholars.  The students are:

Angel McCoughtry (SFA 2004) is a student-athlete at the University of Louisville.  She earned a basketball gold medal in the 2007 Pan Am games representing the United States of America.
